Introduction
Premise: The nations of Earth have been colonizing planets after the development of interstellar travel. The Colonial Marine Corps is the security force for these new colonies and outposts and also establishes the initial "beach-head" on new planets and moons. The CMC is also used against colonies striving for independence, hostile organisms, space pirates, and other situations.

- Example
- A player rolls two 10-sided dice for each attribute, resulting in the following:
- Strength = 18
- Dexterity = 4
- Charisma = 5
- Intelligence = 7
- Willpower = 7
- Build = 18
- What this means is this character is extremely strong and large, is moderately intelligent and assertive, but is clumsy and not likable.
- Continuing on, this characters physical size is calculated by multiplying the Build times 5 and adding 40, resulting in a mass of 105kg or 231 pounds. If the character had a Build of 3, then the final result would be 40kg (88 pounds), since the calculation only equals 30kg (66 pounds).
- This character can throw small, hand-sized objects up to 36 meters (118 feet), or about 1/3 of a football field. He can also carry 72kg (158 pounds) comfortably on his back.
- This character has 72 hit points in his torso, 36 on each arm and leg, and 18 for his head.
- A player rolls two 10-sided dice for each attribute, resulting in the following:
